my first reaction is “but what about the kainate and metabotropic receptors?” then I remember that kainate receptors are suspected to only be involved with synaptic plasticity. then I remember that that’s really cool and people should study it more. then I get too sleepy to remember go to pubmed to see what people have written about them. then I realize I have a functional analysis test tomorrow oh shit.
